LaRue Architects explores Chicago for the 2022 AIA Conference

The LaRue team had the pleasure of finally feeling a bit more ‘normal’ this year and attended the AIA conference on Architecture in Chicago! The highlights didn’t just include a moderated conversation with President Barack Obama but plenty of enlightening seminars and amazing architecture to discover. We did make sure to enjoy plenty of hot dogs and pizza too! We have come home to Austin incredibly inspired and truly excited to see what the rest of this year brings in design!

Jim, Patrick, & Emily have just returned from New York City after attending this year’s American Institute of Architects convention. They not only had a ton of fun at events and touring the city but they learned an immense amount. Jim even found

Jim LaRue and Project Manager, Patrick Mobley have returned from Italy after meeting personally with Brombal Window to discuss details on our Red Oak Residence. These expansive and (dare we say it) curved windows are going to provide killer views of Lake Austin. Check our

Jim and Kristi LaRue just returned from their Weston, Massachusetts trip visiting our amazing north eastern clients and their beautifully finished home! LaRue Architects’ Hill Country Contemporary style takes over the North!
Jim has returned from his trip to Italy and it was eventfully busy to say the least! He kicked off the trip with Brombal USA to review window shop drawings for a project here in Austin. Aria Stone also gave him and wife, Kristi the opportunity to go to the Carrara Quarries and see first hand the beautiful white and blue-grey marble. After all that pasta, he is now back in the office and we’re rocking through the rest of summer!
One of our amazing clients threw a wonderful party at their newly finished home in Dallas last week and we were thrilled to show off everyone’s hard work! We want to thank our clients and everyone who came out! It was a big success and it shows in the beautiful design of this home. Cheers to Jim and Emily! John & Richard had the opportunity to go to Florida this month with Captive Audio to learn all about Lutron and what their lighting system has to offer! They both had a lot of fun with everyone and learned all there is to know about lighting. It truly was an enlightening trip!
